Another example of why we cannot take things for granted. This news item from yesterday's NST was just below the article about being robbed at Jalan Travers.
Here the police themselves found they were victims. To add to this, there is another news item about ACA office losing a pistol among other things in a burglary -- and the investigators are pointing the finger at someone hired to guard the office.
Once the irony of it all sinks in, we in Seputeh must be mindful of this when we consider engaging security services. In the final analysis, any service provider is only as good as those who hire and supervise them. Yet, this should not hinder us from helping ourselves.
