A sad tale in yesterday’s NST where people got robbed at a petrol station at Jalan Travers. I know of only one petrol station along that road and it’s only a stone’s throw away from the Travers police station. This is a reminder that we cannot take anything for granted. And the scene of this crime is not too far away from Seputeh. I wonder if the petrol station workers called the police while this was going on. Maybe they were too petrified to act or they froze in terror as well.
Let’s think about this. If this was in a neighbourhood with mobile security patrols, at least the guards are DUTY-BOUND to immediately call the cops.
