I must also share this piece of good news albeit a little late.
Alert neighbours foiled two thieves as they tried to make their getaway along Jalan Tanjung Sepat 1 last week.
Neighbours saw two suspicious characters on a motorcycle carting away some metallic objects from a house under construction and they alerted the police.
A police team confronted them and the thieves sped off. In their haste, the motorcycle crashed and one suspect who was injured was nabbed. The other escaped.
Here is a good example of Seputeh neighbours watching out for one another.
It was later found that quite a lot of construction materials had been squirrelled away in the past weeks.
